HOW HOME BUYING WORKS

Partner with an agent. Someone like me who can show you the local inventory and see what’s about to hit the market.

Get pre-approved for a loan. Obtain a pre-approval letter to determine how much you can afford.

Find your new home; schedule home tours and plan an itinerary with your agent. Finally, decide on your dream home.

Make your offer and negotiate the terms. You’ll acquire a property
disclosure and hire a title company. You’ ll also prepare for a down payment and earnest money.

Under Contract! You’ll secure your home loan, get home insurance and schedule a home inspection, order an appraisal and schedule your closing. You’ll do a complete walk through 24 hours prior to closing and stay in close contact with your agent and lender.

Before you close, you’ll transfer funds, reserve a moving company,
change your address, set up utilities and confirm contingencies are
resolved.
